Developed by TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, the TS050 HYBRID is a sports prototype car with carbon fiber monocoque and closed cockpit body. Its hybrid powertrain employs a midship 2.4-liter twin turbo direct injection V6, a high-powered lithium-ion battery, and Motor Generator Units (MGUs) on front and rear axles. Its superior performance and reliability brought seven victories in the 2018-2019 season, including 2018 and 2019 triumphs in perhaps the most famous endurance race of them all. Now, you can recreate the car in detailed Tamiya 1/24 as it appeared in the final race of the glorious 2018-2019 season.

 

About the Model
★This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 194mm, width: 80mm, height: 58mm. ★The honed form with multiple aero parts is recreated with great accuracy. ★Cockpit features metal-plated roof and detailed interior. ★Decals allow creation of No.7 or No.8 car from final race of 2018-2019 season. ★Metal transfers depict headlight LEDs and side mirror surfaces. ★Masking stickers are included to aid with the paint job. ★Realistic synthetic rubber slick tires. ★Front wheels are steered.

★The complex lines and form of the body are recreated in stunning style, complete with the various aero parts.
★The TS050 HYBRID’s distinctive LED headlights are recreated with metal transfers, decals and clear parts.
★A gloss metal-plated part is used to recreate the car’s roof, with induction pod and antennas also captured.

 


★This is a closer look at the cockpit interior, with console panel, seat and lithium battery box all included.
★You can even take a look inside the front fenders, which act like a air tunnel in front of the side pontoons.
★The exhausts on the car peek out from the extensive rear cowling, which uses carbon fiber decals for the finish.

 

★Left: Go closer in to the underside, which uses extensive underpanels and has a realistic depiction of the front suspension.

★Right: Decals recreate the 2018-2019 final race sponsors for both No.7 and 8 cars. Metal transfers and masking stickers are included.
